Our Team

Hans Atli Dahl
CEO, Master of Science Ph.D
I have a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Copenhagen and a Ph.D in Molecular Genetics from the University of Southern Denmark, working in the field of psychiatric genetics in isolated populations. I am co-founder and Managing Director of Amplexa. My interest lies in molecular biology and the technical systems related to the production of genetic data. I consider it a privilege to gather talented people around me to develop new solutions that deliver applicable knowledge for the treatment of diseases.

Lenet Watt Skovstrøm
Chief of Operations, Master of Science

Christina Dühring Fenger
Clinical Analysis Director, Master of Science. Ph.D
I am employed in a shared position between Amplexa and the Unit for Epilepsy Genetics and Personalized Medicine, Danish Epilepsy Center. With a master's degree in Biomedicine and a PhD in Neurobiology, I have been working in genetics since 2017, when I was hired by Amplexa Genetics. On a daily basis, I take care of our private customers, and I am responsible for the interpretation of variants and report writing, especially in the field of neurology .

Sten V. Hindsgaul
Quality Manager, M.Sc., Ph.D
At Amplexa Genetics, I create the framework and systems to ensure high-quality analyses. My education is in biochemistry and molecular biology, with specialization in protein chemistry and proteome analysis.

Eva Harvald
Research & Development Director, Master of Science, Ph.D.
I have a background in molecular biology and several years of experience as a scientist at the university and hospital. At Amplexa I work with research and development, guiding scientist with their projects and supervising industrial Ph.D students. On a daily basis, I am responsible for our single cell services.

Ida Marie Nygaard
Laboratory Director
I am a trained biomedical laboratory scientist. At Amplexa I am responsible for a considerable part of the laboratory work – from receipt of the sample until finished test result. I place strong emphasis on quality control of test results as well as laboratory procedures. I have always had a special interest in molecular biology techniques; at Amplexa I am able to pursue this interest.

Alberte Rosenberg Gaarsmand
Molecular biologist, Master of Science.
At Amplexa Genetics, I use my skills every day to help our customers with clarification. For me, being able to go to work and know that you are helping to make a difference for others is a big motivating factor. When I'm not at Amplexa Genetics, I enjoy being able to relax in the company of family and friends or to make a mini getaway to the family's common allotment garden.

Frederik Adam Bjerre
Industrial PhD-student in Bioinformatics
I study the optimization of Stem-Cell protocols computationally using the cutting-edge technology Single-Cell Sequencing, In collaboration with professor Ditte C. Andersen at Clinical Research (SDU). The project specifically aims to identify key factors that contribute the development of mature heart muscle cells from Stem-Cells. This three-year project is financially supported by Innovation Foundation Denmark and will result in the development of bioinformatic solutions for researchers and companies in the biotech industry.

Freja Cecilie Mikkelsen
Microbiological consultant
I am employed as a research assistant in microbiology at University of Copenhagen (KU), which collaborates closely with Amplexa Genetics on bacterial sequencing methods. I am passionate about R&D and I help Amplexa with development of new sequencing projects that have a microbiological focus. When I am not developing methods, I develop myself through hobbies like choir, climbing and hiking - our next hike will be 50km, so the preparation has begun.
